SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Freight prices via the website are indicative only. Freight costs are calculated by the total cubic meterage of your order and will be calculated by our Starex team once they receive your order. Variations can occur due to placement, rural delivery, 2 or more person deliveries. You will be notified of the freight pricing prior to final confirmation and you will be required to confirm this via the Starex terms and conditions acceptance form. If an order is required as two or more separate deliveries the freight will be calculated accordingly.

In addition to the lead time for your furniture manufacture, please allow:

  • 1-3 working days for delivery within the Bay of Plenty or Auckland areas
  • 5-10 working days for delivery to the South Island and the rest of New Zealand


Any delivery times provided by Starex are estimates and provided in good faith and are not a binding contract to deliver by a specified time.

Please ensure you inspect the goods prior to signing acceptance on any documentation. Starex cannot accept responsibility of damaged goods if the goods have been signed for upon delivery.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Please choose carefully as we do not provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase. Please contact us to discuss a return.  Products may only be returned for a credit with prior agreement from Starex.

All custom orders cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

If an item has been damaged during delivery, please notify us prior to signing any documentation so we can make arrangements for the item to be returned and repaired/replaced by our Starex team.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items that appear to have been damaged or used by the customer will not be accepted as faulty. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been used or incurred wear and tear.

If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when contacting [email protected] about the fault. All claims should be in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item.
