Here at Your Place, our vision from the start was to establish a home-like, rather than a school-like environment, both inside and out.
Initially this was quite overwhelming because it meant shopping around (literally), for everything we wanted and needed, rather than buying the majority of things from one place. Given we had six rooms to design and then dress, which, when set up we wanted to look different from one room to the next, the process wasn’t easy at all. But, with Starex’s help it wasn’t as hard as we initially thought it would be. The best part of what Starex offer I think, is the way they organise and carry out delivery. For example, instead of packing their delivery truck at their depot with items all mixed up, then upon delivery dumping them all into one room for us to then sort through and shift to wherever we needed them to go once they’d gone, they organised items to be labelled and packed into their truck room by room, and then upon delivery, took each item directly to whichever room they were meant to go to. This saved our backs, a copious amount of time, and potentially us damaging furniture before it had even been unpacked. Thanks Starex, it was a pleasure doing business with you 🙂
