Rodrigo

Hola! My name is Rodrigo Andrade, chilean cabinet maker, and I’m living in the Mount with my partner María since June 2025. 

Before, we lived in Auckland for 2 years and I worked as a timber joiner creating doors, windows and frames.

I developed my cabinet maker skills in Santiago, Chile. I was co owner of a small company doing different kinds of furnitures like beds, units, kitchens, tables, racks and we could buy our own CNC machine! In Auckland working as a joiner I learn a lot about timber and machinery. Also I’m finishing my apprenticeship in joinery (timber doors and windows) in BCITO. In my free time I love to do hikings, travel and swim on the beach. For that reason we are living just 2 blocks to the main beach. Also I love to play football!
