The long layout of a Maki is perfect storage for books and a WOW piece for the kids to adore. The Starex design process included finding the right angle to position Maki – we wanted the product to blend into the floor, like it was jumping out of the ocean!

For the design team, focusing on animals brings out creative ideas and we love how this unit compliments our sheep Louie – Starex who has been a huge hit with the kids and adults alike.
